UPDATE: Boss has been adopted!

Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is “Boss”.  Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann will host members of the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.

This week we are going to feature Boss. Boss is a very friendly, male, 1-year-old Hound mix. He is a total goofball who loves every single person he meets. Boss often gets overlooked because he has lots of energy and needs some help learning his manners, but he is so eager to please. Boss has been working with a volunteer dog trainer of ours and is learning so fast - he already sits and shakes! He would make the perfect pup to bring along on adventures.

During this month of November, a month of thanks, the SQSPCA wants to say a big "Thank You!" to everyone who has supported the shelter. They couldn't help the animals they care for without your support.

35 Reasons Why Everybody Loves the Finger Lakes

There are several great "destination pockets" in the area we call Upstate New York. Whether it be the historic mansions along the Hudson Valley, the small ski towns of the Catskills, the majesty of the Adirondacks, the diverse history of Central New York, or the beautiful region shrouded in Niagara's mist out west. And then there is the Finger Lakes! These 11 "finger like" lakes, spread out from (roughly) just west of Interstate 81 out through the Genesee Valley in Western New York This area is one of the state's great playgrounds.
