Pet Of The Week –‘Lemon Drop’
This week we have a rabbit for the Susquehanna SPCA “Pets of the Week” and her name is Lemon Drop. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann hosts Allison Hungerford, licensed Vet Tech at the Susquehanna SPCA, who tells us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home but sometimes, other animals end up at the shelter due to a variety of circumstances.
Since we just celebrated Easter, we would like to introduce you to Lemon Drop who is very sweet-tempered and is spayed. Lemon Drop might be a little shy at first but with some time and patience, this bunny would make a wonderful pet.
Rabbits make great pets for folks who might be looking for a unique companion to spend time with. They can actually be litter-box trained, just like cats! While rabbits do need some special care and attention, the adoption counselors at the SQSPCA are ready to provide anyone with all the information they need to be a successful rabbit owner.

To meet this wonderful rabbit or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience, although walk-ins are welcome.
