The Otsego Land Trust has announced that efforts to obtain a sustainable source of funding for Brookwood Point via a public request for proposals has drawn to a close. At a recent meeting, OLT’s Board determined that there were no proposals meeting the land trust requirements to actively protect the conservation values of the property. Brookwood Point is one of the few open areas along the shores of Otsego Lake which provides free public access. Otsego Land Trust will continue to own all 22 lakefront acres and will continue its program of capital improvements at the site.
