Oneonta Woman Survives Deadly Crash

On Thursday, November 8, just before 7:00 p.m., according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Paris. Erika L. Davis, age 42 of Oneonta, was operating was driving north on Holman City Road and lost control of her vehicle as she was rounding a bend in the road.  Davis's vehicle left the roadway, went into a creek, flipped onto it's roof, and began to take on water. Davis was able to escape the vehicle and made it to a nearby residence.

Davis was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Utica and treated for injuries to her abdomen and left leg.
