Oneonta Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder Charge

An Oneonta man charged in a 2018 domestic dispute takes a plea deal. Prosecutors say David Thomas pleaded guilty to felony attempted murder and assault in connection with the incident at a Depew St. home where the victim was found to have serious injuries. They were initially taken to A.O. Fox Hospital then transferred to Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. When Thomas is sentenced June 5 he will be in jail for eight-and-a-half years along with five years post release supervision.
