Oneonta Cemetery Tour Stirs Up The Past

OnWednesday, June 17th at 7pm and then continuing on June 24th at 7pm, the Greater Oneonta Historical Society will host a 2 part walking tour of the historic Riverside Cemetery at 296 Main Street (behind the First Presbyterian Church), in Oneonta.  

GOHS member Lynn Bissel will be the tour guide for both nights and has authored several books on local history.  In part 1 of the tour, Bissell will tell the story of early Oneonta through visits to grave sites of well-known, early Oneonta families.  Part 2 will focus on later Oneonta history.
