A new report from the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation finds New York has the fifth lowest obesity rate in the country at 25 percent. The “State of Obesity: Better Policies for a Healthier America” study found that seven states passed the 35 percent level for the first time. The least obese state was Colorado at 22.6 percent and the most was West Virginia at 38.1 percent.
