NYSP Warns of Purebred Puppies For Sale Scam
New York State Police are warning the public about a scam making the rounds involving purebred puppies for sale. Once the deposit is cleared, the victim is provided an address, which does not exist, to pick up their puppy. They say to only deal with a reputable breeder and never pay via a payment app.
