It is that time of year where holiday adventurers head out on the highways.  Although things are MUCH different this year, the New York State Police intends to keep an eye out for those driving while impaired over the Memorial Day weekend.

In a Troop C press release, troopers stated that "The New York State Police will increase patrols to combat drunk, impaired and reckless driving throughout this Memorial Day weekend. The STOP-DWI enforcement period starts on Friday, May 22, and runs through Tuesday, May 26. State Police and our local law enforcement partners will be out in force to remove impaired and reckless drivers from our highways."

We at Townsquare Media encourage all of our listeners to have a safe and fun holiday and to please be responsible when driving!
