NYS Parks Seat Belt Enforcement Campaign Underway

New York State Police are partnering with the New York State Park Police and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee to ensure state parks visitors are buckling up for safety. The Buckle Up New York Summer Parks Initiative is in effect from now through August 10. The goal is to make sure people use seat belts along with approved child safety seats. Close to 7,600 tickets were issued during the 2019 campaign.
