NWS Observer Dave Mattice Confirms It: Saturday WAS Warm!

National Weather Service Observer Dave Mattice of Oneonta has confirmed our little "heat wave" on Saturday.  Dave says:  "The official high temperature for Saturday was 61 degrees.  That tied the record set back on this day in 1975.  Sunday was also a warm day.  Officially we hit a high of 58 degrees at 8:00 AM Sunday morning.  After that the temperatures fell steadily throughout the day.  The 58 recorded temperature on Sunday fell just shy of the record of 62 degrees for the day in the past."

So, Dave says the warmish weather will linger for a few days but that it is "back to winter" this coming weekend,.
