The annual St. Baldrick's head shaving fundraiser to raise awareness of childhood cancer is about halfway to its goal.

This year's event will be held virtually because of COVID, and the amount raised so far is $15,000.  The organization hopes to top last year's final goal of $31,771.  To date, 33 people have volunteered to have their heads shaved, and three teams have registered and are participating. The deadline is March 13.
