Norwich Man Facing Federal Child Sex Abuse Charges

A Norwich man is facing federal charges of child sexual exploitation. According to the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Northern District of NY 33-year-old Patrick Kain sexually exploited a child under the age of 6 in February 2019 for the purpose of producing visual depictions of that abuse. Kain appeared in a Syracuse court on Tuesday and is detained pending further proceedings. The FBI along with State Police and the Chenango County District Attorney’s Office investigated.
