State Police at Norwich recently arrested 42 year old Jason Brundige of Norwich for the felony of 2nd degree assault and the misdemeanors of petit larceny and 2nd degree aggravated harassment.

This arrest occurred after troopers were made aware of a physical dispute that occurred on August 9th on White Stone Road in the Town of Norwich. An investigation determined that during an argument, Brundige allegedly caused serious injuries to the victim by assaulting the victim with his hands. Brundige also allegedly stole about $300 from the victim’s belongings and then left. While gone, Brundige allegedly sent and left several threatening phone and text messages for the victim.

Brundige was arrested after being located in the Town of Amsterdam and was remanded to the Chenango County jail with no bail set.
