A pair of Norwich men are facing charges after an investigation found they stole catalytic converters from 8 separate vehicles. Police say Paul Knuth and Samuel Furlong took the converters then sold them outside the county. The converters contain two precious metals which scrap dealers are known to purchase. According to investigators the damage was valued at over $10,000. Knuth and Furlong are charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
