No NYS Regents Exams to Be Given This Year

The Class of 2020 will not have to pass Regents exams in order to graduate. That was made official on Tuesday by the State Education Department which cancelled the exams a day earlier. Instead students simply need to pass the courses in which an exam would have been administered. Plans to revamp the Regents exam system are now being delayed by a year because of the coronavirus outbreak.
