These Upstate NY Pumpkin Patches Are Saying, “Pick Me! Pick Me!”
We can count on at least five favorite hallmarks of a beautiful Upstate New York autumn. And we look forward to enjoying all five.
Cider donuts. Pumpkin patches. Spectacular beauty. Fall festivals. Fresh squeezed apple cider.
We love all five, and look forward to experiencing them. A warm apple cider donut accompanied by an ice cold glass of fresh squeezed apple cider from your local orchard or mill. Perfect. Enjoying any of the numerous fall festivals in the small towns and villages across Upstate New York. They are a fun family favorite. Spectacular beauty? We will put up the display that Mother Nature puts on each autumn in Upstate New York against the beauty of any other part of any other state in the country. Breathtaking. For just a couple of weeks, to be sure. But breathtaking nonetheless.
And how about a visit to a good old fashioned pumpkin patch? Taking the kids to pick out the "just right" farmer's pumpkin to take home and carve into an epic jack-o-lantern. A time honored tradition everywhere, not just in Upstate New York.
Here is a sampler gallery of some small pumpkin patches to visit with your family in the coming weeks. The big orange orbs are sitting out in the field just waiting for you and your little ones to claim and take home. Always fun.
If your favorite Upstate New York pumpkin patch didn't make our list, please give it a shout out over on or Facebook page!
We really do want to hear from you!
