The last full week of September we get to celebrate National Lobster Week.

So, how will you toast the mighty lobster?  A lobster bake?  Lobster salad?  Do you go for the whole thing and start cracking and peeling away at it?  How about soup.  Lobster Bisque anybody?
Well, for me I will always pick a Lobster Roll.  It is everything a sandwich should be.  Packed with fresh lobster pieces, gobs of mayonnaise, and a fresh bun.  Easy breezy.  It is my seafood happy place (although it is not my doctor's happy place.  Yikes!).  You can't get lobster rolls at any old seafood restaurant up here.  Not like in Maine, or Boston, or Cape Cod where you trip over a lobster roll every time you turn around.

But when you do find an excellent one in Upstate New York it really is time for a celebration.  This gallery looks at a bunch of great places, big and small, elegant and casual, that serve up a tasty lobster roll.  Each restaurant is linked to their social media so you can get directions and information.  We also have included a 5-star restaurant review we have found online for each place.

Your mouth will be watering by the time you finish this gallery!

Lobsters Rolls In the Spotlight! Several Great Lobster Restaurants in Upstate New York

The last week in September we get to celebrate National Lobster Week. It is without a doubt one of our favorite national food "holidays."
Personally, I have never been a whole lobster type of guy. Too much deconstruction for me. But a lobster roll really hits my sweet spot. Grill the roll, stuff it with fresh lobster pieces, lay on the mayonnaise, and stand back.

This gallery helps us celebrate this food week by listing a sampler of great seafood places in Upstate New York that serves my favorite...a lobster roll.

Enjoy!
