MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run Comes to Oneonta Friday

A very popular baseball event for area youngsters is today.

The City of Oneonta is hosting a MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run Competition at Ted Christman Field in Neahwa Park from 5-7 p.m.

Children may compete at any time within this time frame. Participation is free and open to all boys and girls ages 7-14. Event day registrations will be accepted.

Winners of local events advance to compete at a sectional event scheduled for Sunday, May 19 at Damaschke Field. There they will face other winners of local contests that were held throughout the region for a chance to advance to a team championship at an MLB stadium.
