Milford Helping to Raise Funds for Local Injured Firefighters

The Milford Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Squad is raising money for two Cooperstown firefighters injured while fighting a blaze in Middlefield. A fireman’s boot is in the Milford Corner Store for residents to donate money for Scott Monington and Jon Roach who were among five firefighters battling the garage fire in Middlefield last month. The two were treated for burns at Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse and are now back home.
