Mayor Herzig Praised for Declaring “Aviation Appreciation Month”

The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Gary Herzig of Oneonta, New York for proclaiming May “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In New York, general aviation accounts for over $7 billion in total economic output.

“Mayor Herzig’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of Oneonta and the State of New York,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of Oneonta for recognizing this vital industry.”
