Local Counties To Receive Emergency Communications Systems Grants

Otsego and Chenango Counties will be sharing in $45 million awarded across New York State to upgrade emergency communications systems. Governor Andrew Cuomo says this will improve the quality and efficiency of emergency response capabilities across New York, while supporting the brave first responders who put their lives on the line every day to protect their neighbors and their community.

Otsego County has been awarded $797,694 and Chenango County will receive $456,553
