Livestock Foundation today announced two competitive funding opportunities to support community preservation and development, and agricultural education. Applications are now open for the 2019 Mini-Grant Program and a NEW Agricultural Scholarship. Submissions for each are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 15th, 2019.

The 2019 Community Mini-Grant is available for community projects that enable the economic viability and historic preservation of Bovina. Applicants may request a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $600. Preference will be given to beautification projects designed to enhance our Main Street, as well as to collaborative projects.

An Agricultural Scholarship is now available from the Foundation. $1,000 will be awarded to a 2019 Delaware County high school graduate pursuing a career in agriculture. Students are required to submit an essay about their career choice and a college acceptance letter.
