The Liquor Depot store on Oneonta's Southside held their annual "Spring Tasting" event on Saturday.  Big Chuck did a 2-hour radio remote from the event and reported that it was wildly popular.  "There was a steady stream of people in line from the moment I got their at noon until I left at 2:00." he said.

More than 30 liquor, wine, whiskey and cider vendors from far and wide were on hand with tasting stations around the entire store.

"This is always one of our biggest days," Evan Isgar said.  He has been the manager at Liquor Depot for over 12 years.  "This is a perfect time for this kind of tasting event.  People are starting to think about summer and hosting summer parties on the deck, porch or at camp, including weddings, and we like to provide them with some great savings.  Our vendors are wonderful.  Some of them have travelled hundreds of miles to be here with us.  For me and the staff it is also one of the most fun days of the year as we see lots of new faces coming in as well as many of our loyal regular customers."
