The Kraft Heinz production plant in Walton is about to get a new owner. The food giant announced it’s selling its natural cheese business to Lactalis Group for $3.2 billion. This affects brands such as Cracker Barrel and Breakstone but Kraft Heinz will still make Philadelphia cream cheese and Kraft singles along with Velveeta and Cheeze Wiz. The sale includes production facilities in California and Wisconsin with the workers transferring to Lactalis Group.
