Safe Kids of Otsego County will be hosted by Community Bank of Cooperstown with Halloween and pedestrian safety resources to help keep kids safer.

Starting Wednesday through Oct. 31, Safe Kids of Otsego County will offer an array of Halloween/pedestrian safety information and a few treats too. Information will be available during regular bank hours at the 62 Main Street location in Cooperstown.

On Halloween, many children spend hours in close proximity to cars as they navigate through neighborhoods gathering treats. Pedestrian safety should be a top priority for both drivers and parents. There will be reflective Halloween bags, reflective zipper pulls, activity booklets and information for adults at the bank.

For more information about Halloween and pedestrian safety contact Rich McCaffery at Richard.Mccaffery@bassett.org or 607-547-5256. Safe kids is committed to the prevention of childhood injury and is led by Bassett Healthcare Network.
