The Stinger Sandwich Is New York’s Best Kept Secret

How many more things can come out of Buffalo, New York that are absolutely amazing? You can add this to the list of items because the stinger may just become your new favorite sandwich. It joins the likes of modern air conditioning, windshield wipers, the pacemaker, and most importantly Buffalo wings.

Just when you thought that beef on weck was the best sandwich to come out of Western New York you need to make space for the masterpiece of all masterpieces, the stinger. Just thing thing that you need to fuel you before a cold game on a Sunday in Buffalo. It will warm you right up and leave you feeling oh so good inside.

How To Make a Stinger

This sandwich consists of a traditional Philly cheesesteak, which is shaved ribeye, American cheese, diced up peppers and onions. Obviously you can use the cheese wiz if you want, but I think for this one you go with sliced American. You then add the chicken tenders on top that have been drenched in Buffalo sauce.

Just taking one look at this sandwich and I knew right away that I would love it. A cheesesteak is one of the best sandwiches ever created and a chicken tender tossed in buffalo sauce is something I would never turn down. The combination of the two sounds like a match made in football food heaven.
