Every year you see players coming and going in the NFL.  That's what makes it so interesting year to year.  This year, the Bills are going to look a lot different.

It's a natural part of the process.  Contracts only last so long in the NFL so players move from team to team a lot.  While it can be hard sometimes to see some of your favorites leave, it's also what helps to keep things fresh.

Who have the Bills signed so far this year?

The Bills have gotten criticized a little this year for not making big enough splash moves in free agency.  But with where the Bills were with their cap situation, it's pretty impressive that they were able to make room to sign anyone.

Already, they've signed a backup quarterback to fill Kyle Allen's spot (Mitch Trubisky), but they've also signed a punter (Matt Haack), and two wide receivers (Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel).  They were also able to sign a linebacker in Nicholas Morrow.

The Bills are re-signing players

One thing I think cannot be overstated is that it seems as though the Bills are doing their best to re-sign players.  They were able to get an extension done with Dion Dawkins and re-signed AJ Epenesa and DaQuan Jones, which could have been one of their best moves this offseason.  Re-signing running back Ty Johnson was a popular move too.

Two more Bills signed with new teams recently

Unfortunately, the lack of cap space has forced the Bills to let some players go too.  As much as they probably wanted to keep some of these players, they just didn't have the money to be able to afford them all.  So they lost out on players like Leonard Floyd (San Francisco), Gabe Davis (Jacksonville), and now Tyrel Dodson and Siran Neal.

Dodson just signed with Seattle last night.

Dodson was a key player at the end of the year when both Matt Milano and Terrell Bernard went out with injuries.  He was able to step up and did a great job.  He showed huge improvement over the years and he will definitely be missed.

Siran Neal is the second Bill that left in the last couple of days for another team.  He will be joining Jordan Poyer in Miami as he signed with the Dolphins.
