Another Popular Restaurant Closing For Good Soon In Eden
The news came through yesterday that unfortunately, another restaurant in Western New York will be closing their doors for good soon.
Eden, NY is a pretty small town. It's why a lot of people who live there, choose to live there. There are a lot of farms, but only a few businesses. So it's sad to hear that another one has to close its doors due to rising costs.
The Pilot Light Pub has been operating under that name for the last 2 years at 8557 North Main Street in Eden. Previously it was O'Brien's Pub and the Eden Pub.
Yesterday, they made the announcement that they would be closing.
"Continued rising costs of food, utilities, insurance, taxes, and labor have just been too high to overcome. At some point our passion must confront logic, and it doesn’t make sense to continue."
It's incredibly sad to see a restaurant like this have to close. It's obvious from some of the comments how much it was loved in the community. They did everything they could to help it stay open, but at some point you just have to know when to say when.
The good news is that we still have them for a few more days. They won't be closing until May 21st, so if you haven't gotten a chance to check them out before now, you still can. If you're a fan of Brussels sprouts, I had some of the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had in my life there. The food really is amazing. They have been able to create some of the best dishes there.
