American Idol’s Matt Wilson to Sing National Anthem in Buffalo, New York

The Buffalo, New York native will be returning to Western New York after his American Idol journey. American Idol contestant and star, Matt Wilson, who is currently in the Top 24 on Idol and has a chance to win the whole thing.

He was on the brink of elimination before Katy Perry announced that they just 'changed the rules' to include another contestant, which was Matt Wilson. It is no doubt that the daycare aid from Buffalo, New York is one of the favorites. American Idol loves to use Wilson for their commercials, social media, and promos, endorsing Wilson to the fans.

21-year-old Matt Wilson will be at the Toyota Taste of Country to sing the Star Spangled Banner! So far on Idol, he has covered songs like 'Forever' by Chris Brown, 'Cold' by Chris Stapleton, 'The Sound of Silence' by Simon & Garfunkel.
