Investigation Continues into Fatal Accident in Eaton

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office continued its investigation Thursday of a fatal accident that happened in the town of Eaton on Wednesday night.

Police responded to the scene at around 10:30 p.m. after a person reported seeing a vehicle off the road in some trees.

So far the investigation showed that a man in his 50s, whose name has not yet been released, was driving on State Route 46 when he went off the road at the intersection of Canal Road.
