Informational Picket Line at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

An informational picket was held last week by UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital nurses regarding their pension plans. Union officials say the hospital made drastic changes to the plans as contract negotiations resumed after a delay due to the coronavirus outbreak. The last contract expired in September 2019. UHS officials issued a statement saying they they entered into negotiations in good faith and delivered a final offer they felt is fair and equitable. Patient care was not interrupted during the demonstration.
