NYSEG continues to work on the power interruption across the state from Hurricane Sandy.

In Delaware County, 600 residents are currently without power. This is the fourth day without power for more than 500 residents in the county.

NYSEG field supervisor of customer service in the Oneonta Division, Ann Carnrike, said the tree damage to NYSEG lines is expansive, and it may take even more time to fully restore power.

"There a lot of broken poles and tree damage in that area," she said. "It calls for off-road work, which is way more extensive to do. We have every person available out working. They're working around the clock."

Carnrike did not give a timetable for full power restoration.
