State Police release the results of the Halloween Enforcement Campaign which started Oct. 25 and ran through the first of November, Troopers wrote nearly 21.500 tickets statewide and 280 DWI arrests were made. Other law enforcement agencies wrote more than 40,000 tickets for DWI and other offenses including speeding, distracted driving, seat belt infractions and move over law violations. The enforcement campaign was funded by the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
