Habitat for Humanity of Otsego County is hosting an open house at 7 p.m. at the Elm Park United Methodist Church on Tuesday. The open house is for families in need of simple, decent housing.

Habitat volunteers will be on hand to explain how Habitat works and to answer questions about becoming a Habitat partner family or a Habitat volunteer. There will be free refreshments.

Now in its 29th year, in partnership with participating families, Habitat for Humanity of Otsego County has helped 30 families throughout Otsego County obtain their own home.

Partner families are just that, partners, contributing their own time and effort alongside Habitat volunteers building these homes.
