Great New York State Fair Opens

The Great New York State Fair began its 13-day run on Wednesday. Gates open at 7:00 a.m. daily with exhibit buildings opening at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $3 on Thursdays, $1 on Labor Day (Sept. 3), and $10 on the remaining days. Fair officials say a $27 million renovation of the fair’s largest parking lot and additional park-and-ride lots are providing more parking than ever before.
