A Chenango County grand jury indicted Ganesh Ramsaran today for second-degree murder of his wife Jennifer Ramsaran.

Ramsaran was arrested last Friday in connection with the death of Jennifer, who went missing Dec. 11, 2012, and whose body was found on Feb. 26.

He was released on $300,000 bond yesterday and will appear for an arraignment hearing on May 28.

If convicted, Ramsaran faces 25 years to life in prison.
