Gov. Cuomo To Stay in Albany For Biden Inauguration

Governor Andrew Cuomo canceled plans to travel to Washington for the inauguration of Joe Biden due to potential demonstrations that may occur around the state Capitol. The governor said state law enforcement agencies have made preparations for possible Albany protests that may be held in connection with the presidential inauguration. Cuomo said he sent “best wishes” to Biden, who he characterized as “a good friend.”
