Gov. Cuomo Rides School Bus to Promote Gun Bill
By
Governor Andrew Cuomo shared school bus rides with students Monday and Tuesday as part of his work to get the Red Flag Gun Protection Bill, also known as the Extreme Risk Protection Order Bill passed through the Legislature. The legislation would make New York the first state in the country to empower teachers and school administrators to prevent school shootings by pursuing court intervention. Cuomo also wants to raise the legal age for gun purchases to 21 from 18.
