The pandemic has disrupted routines and delayed plans, but cancer screening is just as important as ever.  All men and women ages 50 and older should be annually screened for colon cancer. To help us all get back on track with preventative care and in recognition of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the Cancer Services Program of the Central Region (CSP) is offering a free colon cancer screening event.

Come to the Delhi Price Chopper Parking Lot at 3 Main Street, Delhi, NY 13753 on March 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be freebies, giveaways, health information, and more! Eligible individuals will be able to sign up for free take-home colon cancer screening kits.

As part of this special event, Senator Mike Martucci’s office will be on site. Stop by to speak with Senator Martucci’s staff to ask questions, voice concerns, discuss local issues, and seek assistance in using government services. The mobile screening coach will be offering free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women 40 and older. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Colon cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable. Schedule a screening today by calling 1-888-345-0225 or visiting
