Fire Damages Phoenix Mills Home

A fire damages the garage and an attachment at a Phoenix Mills home. All Otsego reports the blaze broke out Thursday afternoon and while the garage and addition were destroyed firefighters were able to prevent the main house from severe damage. Nearly 10 fire companies responded and a section of Route 33 was closed. The home was once owned by Bassett Medical Center Urologist Dr. Rodman Carter. An investigation is underway into the fire’s cause.
