Felony Charges Brought Against Assault Suspect In Stamford
An arrest is made in connection with an assault and vandalism in May at a Town of Stamford home. According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Daniel Tompkins of Gilboa faces multiple felony charges for conspiring with others to assault the victim and Tompkins then caused over $1,500 in damage to the property. An investigation determined Tompkins then conspired with others to alter and conceal physical evidence. Tompkins was taken into custody last week and arraigned in Town of Stamford court then jailed on a $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
