Dr. Fauci’s ‘First Pitch Mask’ Now at Baseball Hall of Fame
When Dr. Anthony Fauci threw out the first ball recently at his beloved Washington Nationals opening game, most people will remember that moment because of how wide his pitch went away from home plate. Dr. Fauci took it all in good stride and said the first pitch was his "dream come true."
Now, the face mask our nation's top epidemiologist wore at the pitcher's mound (emblazoned with the Washington Nationals logo) has been immortalized by its "induction" into the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown. It will be on exhibit for all to see. And, yes, that has to be a dream come true for the good doctor too!
