Distracted Driving Blamed for Stamford Collision
A 68-year-old woman suffered critical injuries in a 2-car crash on Thursday in Stamford. Police say it happened on State Highway 10 near the intersection of Terry Road when a northbound driver crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a car head on driven by Dolores Austin of Hobart. Austin was airlifted to Albany Medical Center. The other driver and a passenger declined medical evaluation or treatment.
