On the 23rd day of August 2018, at approximately 12:50 AM, Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Dominick R. Barkman, 26, of Delhi, New York on one count of Reckless Endangerment in the second degree. The arrest occurred during the course of an investigation of a report of gun shots fired in the Town of Delhi. It is alleged that Barkman recklessly engaged in conduct which created a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person by discharging a firearm within close proximity to occupied dwellings. He was arraigned at the Town of Delhi Court on the current charge, as well as for violating Environmental Conservation Laws which prohibit the discharge of a firearm within five hundred feet of a dwelling. He was subsequently remanded to the custody of the Delaware County Correctional Facility en lieu of $1000.00 cash bail, or $2000.00 in secured bonds. He was scheduled to re-appear before the Town of Delhi Court at a later date for further process.
