Delaware Valley Humane Society Begins Fundraising December 3

The Delaware Valley Humane Society is kicking off its fundraising campaign next month and donations are being matched by the Staffworks Fund Save a Life campaign which is a donor-advised fund of the Community Foundation. The matching takes place between Dec. 3 and Dec. 31 and applies to donations made via check or credit card. Shelter officials say operational costs along with a higher than number of animals brought to the shelter has significantly impacted finances.

Also, the Delaware Valley Humane Society is hosting their big bake sale this Saturday at the Sidney Great American from 9:00 AM till the items are sold out. 100% of the proceeds benefit DVHS!  There will be dozens of pies, cakes, cookies and other holiday goodies for sale to benefit the shelter.
