Delaware Sheriffs Patrol Finds Good Snowmobile Rule Adherence

Last weekend the Delaware County Sheriffs Deputies conducted a snowmobile patrol along the New York State Snowmobile Trail System. Deputies conducted their patrol of the trail system in the Townships of Hamden, Meredith, Kortright, Stamford and Colchester.

Deputies found approx 90% of the snowmobiles they encountered to be in compliance with NYS rules and regulations. Two summons were issued for operating a snowmobile without a helmet.
