On December 14th, 2020, the Delaware County Board of Supervisors’ Chairman Tina Molé convened a “Meet and Greet” for the Delaware County Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative committee. At Chairman Molé’s direction, each committee member introduced themselves and their priorities for the committee, indicating subcommittees in which they may be interested in forming.

The Committee was formed in response to Governor Cuomo’s 2020 New York State Executive Order 203 which requires each chief executive officer of the local government to convene the head of the local police agency and stakeholders in the community to develop a plan that reviews and is tailored to the specific needs of the community which fosters and improves community and police relationships.

This meeting was live-streamed via the Delaware County NY YouTube channel. The meeting recording is available on the Delaware County, NY Government Facebook page and YouTube channel, as well as on the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.Delaware County residents will be updated regarding our next Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative committee meeting via our social media pages and websites as mentioned previously.

The date for the next meeting is January 18, 2020 at 11am and will be live-streamed online in addition to being recorded and available after the meeting.
