Delaware County Stone School House to Celebrate 200th Birthday

There is a big celebration coming up in the tiny hamlet of Dunraven, Town of Middletown (Delaware County), on Saturday August 15 from 10-4:00 pm.

The Old Stone School House, a place where early settlers sent their children for education, will be celebrating its 200th birthday.  The school is located 2-miles south of Margaretville.  The one-room school is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places.  The hamlet will celebrate this treasure with an open house at the school.  Inside will be old photographs and documents on display.

Visitors are encouraged to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols when attending this event.
