Delaware County Man Arrested As Fugitive From Justice
In a press release today, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigators arrested a Hancock, NY, man at the Bradford County, Pennsylvania, Correctional Facility for Violation of Probation.
Sheriff’s Investigators, assisted by Delaware County Probation Officers, arrested 25 year-old Brandon E. Felter, of Hancock, NY, at the Bradford County Correctional Facility, in Troy, Pa., where he was being held as a Fugitive from Justice on the Delaware County Probation Warrant.
Felter had previously been sentenced to a five-year term of probation supervision after being convicted of charges related to a burglary he committed in the Town of Hancock. Felter is accused of failing to adhere to the conditions imposed upon him by the Delaware County Probation Department and eventually failed to report to that agency.
Felter was apprehended in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, in late December, 2019, and arrested by Pennsylvania State Police on unrelated charges. Upon satisfying the charges in that jurisdiction, Felter was charged as a Fugitive from Justice in the state of Pennsylvania. Felter subsequently waived extradition and was transported back to Delaware County on Wednesday afternoon by Sheriff’s Investigators and Probation Officers and was held Delaware County Correctional Facility where he remains incarcerated pending further County Court action.
